I will sum this up in the smallest amount of words as possible, since I am very sleepy (which always seems to be the state I'm in when posting anything online).

My sociology class and my modern art class are giving me large waves of inspiration.  I am loving studying artists like Matisse and Picasso and Braque and Van Gogh.  And sociology causes me to rethink my surroundings, therefore rethink how I paint.  I have been making lists of paintings I want to do... It's so exciting.  I'm at a point right now where I can no longer strictly reference photos for my paintings.  I can glance at an image to block something out on canvas, but I overwork it if I try to "copy" the photograph.  It's all coming from in here *points to head* and that's how I always wanted it to be, I think.  I'm satisfied with the direction I'm going in.  Let Imagination Run Wild!!!!  *eyes closing... into... dreams.*
